Corrosion prevention material "Metal Guard Tape"
Just paste it! You can easily and reliably create a rust-proof coating identical to hot-dip galvanized zinc.
"Metal Guard Tape" is a tape-type anode made by processing high-purity zinc anodes used in electrical corrosion protection into a foil form with a thickness of 100 to 200 μm using a special method, and applying a conductive adhesive to the back side. The high-purity zinc foil prevents corrosion through two functions: the ability to insulate (block) oxygen and moisture in the atmosphere, and the sacrificial anode function that activates when damaged. By cleaning the surface of the target facility (Type 3 surface preparation and degreasing) and applying this product, it becomes electrically connected due to the action of the conductive adhesive, forming a corrosion-resistant coating of high-purity zinc that is 2.5 to 5.0 times thicker than the eater layer (approximately 40 μm) of hot-dip galvanized HDZ55. [Features] - The high-purity zinc coating possesses both coating and sacrificial anode functions. - The surface preparation (Type 3 or higher) is simple and easy to handle. - The coating exhibits high rust and corrosion resistance similar to hot-dip galvanizing. - The thickness of the coating is 100 μm for Type S and 200 μm for Type L (2.5 times and 5 times that of hot-dip galvanizing). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. *This product is not aluminum tape. It is a corrosion prevention product made from zinc plating in tape form.
